Enfants et familles
Version:
1. Just for you
- In PEKO you draw, build worlds and play.
- Your drawings are yours and are saved on your tablet or phone. Ask a grown-up before sharing or using an online 3D service.
- We do not see your drawings.
- PEKO has no ads. You can draw and play without buying anything. A grown-up must manage any separate online 3D service.
- PEKO has no chat. Nobody can send you messages.
- Ask a grown-up before you use the camera or the microphone.
- Ask people before you take their photo.
- Do not say your name, address or school in recordings.
- Look around when you play AR. Do not play while walking, on stairs or near a road.
- If your eyes get tired or you feel dizzy, stop. Tell a grown-up.
- If something makes you sad or scared, tell a grown-up.
- Breaks are good. Walk around and drink some water.
2. For parents: what PEKO does and does not do
PEKO is a creativity app where children draw, build worlds and play in them. It is designed for young children, primarily ages 6–12.
PEKO does:
- Support offline drawing and local worlds. Parent-directed sharing, backups and optional AI 3D requests can send selected copies outside the device.
- Send a technical crash report if the app crashes. It also sends performance summaries such as frame rate and low-memory warnings. These contain no name, drawing, voice or photo. You can turn them off.
- Send usage statistics only if you turn them on.
- Keep the child’s age group only on the device and use it only to tailor content to the child.
- Use local parental controls. Under-13 and skipped-age setup requires a PIN; for ages 13–17 it is optional, and a new PIN is not required for adults. Existing PINs remain in place.
PEKO does not:
- Show ads. There are no purchases or subscriptions.
- Offer accounts, sign-in, cloud, community or AI world creation in this version.
- Have chat, messaging, comments or friend lists.
- Use location, contacts or advertising IDs, or track users across apps.
- Sell data or share it for advertising.
For details, see the Privacy Policy.
Optional online 3D: a separate parent decision
If your build includes AI 3D services, a parent can connect an external service using their own account and key. A selected drawing can then be sent directly to that service, which may charge credits and retain or use the content under its policies. A PIN and four local choices do not override provider age rules or replace legally verifiable parental consent. No connection is required for ordinary drawing and play. Read Privacy Policy section 7.6 first; do not send drawings containing names, faces or private information.
3. Quick guide by age
| Age | Supervision | Suitable features | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0–5 | Continuous; an adult next to the child | Drawing, colouring, simple shapes and letters, with an adult | AR, camera and microphone only with an adult |
| 6–8 | Stay nearby and check often | All core features, Drawing School, ready-made stories, easy courses | An adult nearby during AR |
| 9–12 | Regular check-ins | All features, including the story editor and movement design | AR safety and sharing photos |
| 13–15 | Lighter supervision | All features; content is made for younger children | Other people’s privacy |
| 16–17 | General supervision | All features | The parent completes the setup and acceptance |
| 18 and over | Own use | All features | The same privacy protections apply |
Who accepts what for each age group, which rules apply, and what we and the parent are responsible for are set out in section 5 of the Terms of Use. No age group has ads, purchases or online features.
4. Safety tips
- AR and discovery camera: Choose a clear, safe area. Stay with young children. Do not use them while walking, on stairs, or near roads or water.
- Camera and photos: Teach the child to ask before photographing others. Before sharing AR photos, check whether a face, name, school or home is visible.
- Microphone: Off by default. If you turn it on, tell the child not to say personal information in recordings.
- Screen time: Set a daily time and a break reminder. Avoid long, uninterrupted sessions.
- Volume: Keep headphone volume low.
- Photosensitivity: If you notice dizziness, twitching or confusion, stop immediately and see a doctor.
The full warnings are in section 11 of the Terms of Use.
5. Parent tools in the app
- Grown-up setup: On first launch: the age group, the adult check where applicable, documents and one acceptance button, and the parent-code step according to age (required under 13 or when age is skipped; optional at 13–17; not required at 18+).
- Parent code: You can change it or lock the parent area in Parent area → Control. We recommend keeping the code prompt on for every visit.
- Daily time and break reminder: Parent area → Control. The child sees a warning 5 minutes before the time ends.
- Weekly summary: Shows how long PEKO was used in the last 7 days. It is kept only on the device.
- Preferences: language, app sounds, microphone and local backup export. You can also change the child’s age group in the parent area.
- Worlds and backups: back up a world, restore from a backup, restore removed worlds, clean up unused voice recordings and remove a world.
- Reports and usage data: Parent area → Info → Reports and usage data. You can turn error and performance reports off, and turn usage statistics on or off.
- Sound sources and licences: Parent area → Info.
6. Where to read the documents
- In the app: during the Grown-up setup; in Parent area → Legal and support; in Settings → Legal, after the parental gate.
- On the web: Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Children and Families, Account and Data Deletion, Support and Contact.
- If the documents change materially, the app asks you to read and accept them again at the next launch.
7. Deleting data
- You can remove a world in Parent area → Worlds and backups. Removed worlds stay in the trash for 30 days and are then deleted.
- Uninstalling the app deletes all PEKO data on the device.
- You can turn reports and statistics off in Parent area → Info → Reports and usage data. Records on our server are deleted automatically under the retention periods explained in the Privacy Policy.
- For step-by-step instructions, see the Account and Data Deletion page.

Setup uses a single document-acceptance button. Turning on optional usage statistics is a separate decision. The parent PIN is not identity verification or legal parental-consent verification.
