AI 3D Services and Parent Guide
バージョン:
1. What does AI 3D do?
This optional feature sends a selected drawing to an internet service independent of PEKO and turns it into a 3D model. Drawing recognition and 2D animation continue to work on the device. Generation needs internet; downloaded models can later be used in 3D worlds or AR on supported devices without spending another generation credit. The original drawing stays on the device; the provider may also process the submitted copy.
Some PEKO distributions do not offer AI 3D. Technical integration is not approval of child use by the provider. Do not connect a service unless its age and usage conditions are met. Peko Local AI is planned; it is not an available on-device 3D generation model.
Pictures and short films. With a service that also makes pictures and videos (in this version, Replicate), the child’s Pictures and Videos page can turn one drawing into a realistic picture (“Make It Real”) or one to six drawings into a short film (“Make a Film”). Only the drawing’s own pixels are sent, as a JPEG image on a white background; the look or movement is one of a few fixed, child-safe instructions written into PEKO, never text the child types. Drawings made from a photo cannot be chosen, and photos, camera or AR images, names and voice are not sent. PEKO never switches the provider’s safety checker off; a blocked result is not saved. A film of several drawings is made of 5-second scenes, each going from one drawing to the next, played one after another on the device. Results are downloaded at once (Replicate deletes the inputs and outputs of an API request after one hour) and kept only on this device, outside backups and cloud sync. Sharing a picture or film needs the parent code. Builds without AI 3D make no new pictures or films either.
2. The six connection steps
Open Parent area → AI 3D services → selected service → Connect. This area requires a parent code; a device without one creates one first.
- Read the service information and data disclosure. Obtain the account/API key from the provider’s official site.
- Review credit and fee information; a website subscription may not include API use.
- Read and consider the four separate permission/acknowledgement choices. They are not preselected.
- Enter your own API key. Do not obtain someone else’s key or email it to support.
- Test the connection. Success does not guarantee that generation is always successful, free or legally permitted.
- Choose a usage mode and enable the service, or leave it off for now. A service that also makes pictures and films has separate switches for “Make It Real” and “Make a Film” on its page; they are off until you turn them on.
3. The four in-app choices
The connection screen in this version displays:
- I allow drawings to be sent to this service
- I understand that generations may use credits or money from my account
- I understand that the content is processed on third-party servers
- I have read the service’s terms of use and privacy policy
Since 18 October 2026 the first choice also covers sending drawings for realistic pictures and short films, so a choice made for the earlier text is asked for again. These choices are recorded per provider on this device with a version/date; they are not identity-verification documents sent to a PEKO account. Permission can be withdrawn on the service screen. A new text version requires a fresh decision. The PIN and four choices are not asserted to establish verifiable parental consent or an international transfer ground for every country. See the AI privacy notice for processing details.
4. Keys, data and device security
An API key is a secret that authorises requests on your account. It is kept in iOS Keychain or Android Keystore-backed storage, is not displayed again and is not written into app reports. No method guarantees absolute security. If concerned, rotate/revoke it in the provider dashboard and use the provider’s spending controls.
The selected drawing image, generation options and key go directly to the provider. The network connection also exposes information such as an IP address. A drawing may contain a name or other personal information; check before sending. PEKO does not attach extra audio/photos. Provider terms explain retention and possible training rights; expiry of an output link does not mean all data has been erased.
5. Fees, limits and results
PEKO is currently free, with no ads, PEKO in-app purchases or PEKO subscription. API charges paid through your own provider account are separate. A service may require a paid plan or credits; check its dashboard for prices and refunds. This notice does not guarantee future features or pricing.
A provider may charge credits/money even when a generation fails, is cancelled or is not satisfactory. PEKO does not display an exact cost without reliable provider information. For pictures and films the approval screen shows an estimate from the provider’s list price (Replicate on 18 October 2026: about $0.03 per picture and $0.05 per 5-second scene at 480p, $0.11 at 720p; a film of six drawings is five scenes, about $0.25 at 480p). It is an estimate, not an invoice. Connection tests, balance displays and history are not invoices. The provider account shows the actual spending.
The default mode asks for parental approval before generation. Other available modes allow generation or limit daily/weekly counts on the device. A picture or a whole film counts as one generation. These limits count generations on this device only; they do not reliably cap total spending on the provider account. Other devices, applications, reinstalls and provider-side activity are separate.
The result is downloaded and checked as a file. These checks do not guarantee content safety, accuracy or copyright clearance. An adult should review it and keep unsuitable models away from a child. Reusing a downloaded model does not spend another generation credit unless a new generation is started.
6. Services and official documents
These links open third-party sites. Terms may change; read the applicable version before connecting. Listing a service is not an endorsement, partnership or approval for children.
| Service | Status in PEKO | Official documents |
|---|---|---|
| Meshy | Connectable integration; account/age conditions apply | Terms, privacy, API docs |
| Tripo | Connectable integration; account/age conditions apply | Terms, privacy, API docs |
| Hyper3D Rodin | Connectable integration; check the required API plan | Terms, privacy, API docs |
| Replicate | Connectable integration for 3D models, realistic pictures and short films; account and model terms apply. Inputs and outputs of API requests are deleted after one hour; the safety checker stays on | Terms, privacy, API docs |
| Higgsfield AI | Image and video service; makes no 3D models. Not supported in PEKO and cannot be connected: its API terms allow no users under 18 and no calls straight from a phone | API terms, privacy, API docs |
| Peko Local AI | Planned; not available | No third-party connection is offered |
7. Disconnecting and getting help
Disconnecting removes the key from the device and stops new generations; it does not automatically erase downloaded models. Manage the provider account, previous submissions and remote key separately. Withdrawing permission stops new submissions. Cancellation of a started job and any refund depend on the provider.
The AI privacy notice and deletion guide explain device and provider deletion. For problems, contact support with the device/app version, provider name and a description without secrets. Never send an API key, parent PIN or a child’s personal content.
