What the language cookie does, what this website does not track, and how to manage your preference.

1. What is stored
A cookie is a small value stored by your browser and sent with matching requests. Peko Games uses one website preference cookie. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, fingerprinting, tracking pixels or cross-site identifiers. We do not store a visitor profile in local storage or IndexedDB.

The cookie contains no name, email, advertising identifier or unique visitor number. A request carrying it still includes ordinary connection information, described in the website privacy policy.
The explicit English home address /en/ also saves the same language preference as English.
2. When it is used
On the bare home page, a valid saved language takes priority over your browser’s preferred language. If neither matches a supported language, English is shown. A direct link such as /tr/privacy-policy/ opens the language in that address. Choosing another language updates the cookie; reading a page does not by itself create it.
The preference is intended to provide the language function you request. A banner asking you to accept advertising or analytics cookies would not describe this site’s current behaviour, since those cookies are not used. If additional non-essential storage is introduced, this policy and the necessary consent controls will be updated first.
3. Change or remove the preference
Choose another language in the header or footer, delete peko_lang in your browser’s website-data settings, or use Forget my saved language below. Removing the cookie does not delete data inside the PEKO app or copies of emails you sent us. It also does not immediately navigate you away from this page.
If cookies are blocked, you can still browse and choose a language using its link, but your preference may not be remembered on the next visit. Private browsing may remove the cookie when the private session ends. Browser settings and extensions can also shorten its lifetime.
4. Hosting and external links
Cloudflare serves and protects the website. Hosting security services can process connection information and, if a security challenge is enabled, may use their own necessary security mechanisms. The current site source includes no analytics or challenge widget. Cloudflare settings must be considered alongside this inventory if they change.
Following an app-store or other external link takes you to a separate service that may set its own cookies. The email links use your email application. Their privacy and storage choices are controlled by those services.
