1. In short

  • You play Volley Brawl without an account. Your profile, progress, match history and settings are stored only on your device.
  • This version has no server of our own. Account links, Cloud Save, leaderboards, friends, mail and shop purchases say “Activates with a server connection” and send no data.
  • The only data that leaves your device is usage statistics (Unity Analytics), sent only if you allow it. If you do not, no statistics are sent; the only other request is the deletion request that Delete Account sends to Unity (section 5.1). You can withdraw your consent at any time in Settings → Privacy → Usage Data.
  • We do not use your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or advertising ID. We do not track you across apps. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
  • This version shows no ads.
  • The game is for everyone, children included. Our extra rules for children are in section 10.

2. Who we are

Volley Brawl is developed and provided by Sercan Göger, a natural person (“we”, “us”). Sercan Göger trades as Corylustech; Corylustech is not a separate legal entity.

Sercan Göger is the data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

  • Name: Sercan Göger (Corylustech)
  • Address: Turgut Reis Mahallesi, Karaosmanoğlu Caddesi, Esenler / İstanbul, Türkiye
  • Email: techcorylus@gmail.com (privacy, KVKK requests, deletion requests and support)

We have not appointed a data protection officer. Use the email address above for every question.

3. Scope

This policy covers this version of the Volley Brawl game for iOS and Android. The detailed notice for Türkiye is the KVKK Information Notice. The rules for using the game are in the Terms of Use.

The Apple App Store and Google Play process your data under their own privacy policies when you download the game and, once offered, when you make purchases. They are responsible for that processing.

4. Data that stays on your device

The following data is stored in the game’s area on your device. In this version we do not receive it and cannot see it.

  • Player profile: your player name (the game gives you a starter name; you can change it), avatar, level, experience points, and coin and gem balance.
  • Collection and progress: the characters, outfits and powers you unlocked; quest, achievement, season, tournament, festival and mail progress.
  • Match history: the time, duration, mode, arena, difficulty and score of each match, the characters played, hit counts and rewards earned.
  • Player ID: a random ID (UUID) created the first time the game opens. It is not derived from your device’s hardware IDs. An older “#KV…” ID from earlier versions is kept too.
  • Settings: sound, vibration, graphics, frame rate, controls, language and privacy choices; account link and data download requests.
  • Caches: weather information (section 5.3) and a queue of records waiting to be sent once a server exists.

The game also reads the following only locally on your device and does not send it: your preferred languages (to open the game in your language), your device’s memory, processor and display refresh rate (to choose the graphics quality automatically), the device clock (to choose the day or sunset arena) and whether a network connection is available.

Because this data is on your device, you control it. Settings → Account → Delete Account deletes your profile and progress. Uninstalling the game deletes all of it. If your device’s backup is on (iCloud or Google backup), game data may be included in that backup. Backups are stored in your Apple or Google account under those companies’ terms; we cannot access them.

5. Data that leaves your device

5.1 Usage statistics (Unity Analytics), only with your consent

The first time the game opens it asks for your consent to “Usage Data”. If you say Yes, the following data is sent to Unity Technologies’ Unity Analytics service so that we can improve the game:

  • Game events: the game starting, screen and tab changes, match start and result (score, duration, arena, difficulty, characters), shop and reward actions, settings and privacy-switch changes, account actions (a name change is reported without the name), connection changes, and summaries of language, graphics quality and frame rate. Each event also carries your level, the number of matches you played, the session number and the days since installation.
  • Error summaries: the type and a short description of an error in the game. File paths and user names on the device are removed before sending.
  • Technical information: your player ID (section 4), so that events from the same player can be grouped; an installation ID created by Unity; the game version, platform, operating system version, device model and language. Unity derives your country from the connection’s IP address.

No name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos or advertising ID is sent.

If you say No, or turn consent off later, no statistics are sent. You can change it at any time with the Settings → Privacy → Usage Data switch; the change applies immediately. When you use Delete Account, the game sends Unity a request to delete the statistics linked to the previous player ID and asks for your consent again. This deletion request is sent even if you never allowed statistics; it carries only the IDs Unity needs to find the data.

Unity acts as our processor: it processes this data on our behalf and on our instructions. For Unity’s own practices see the Unity Privacy Policy.

5.2 Network connection

We read the device’s network status to show or hide online features. We send no data to any server for this.

5.3 Weather (off in this version)

The Quick Match arena changes with the time of day and the weather. This version fetches no weather information; the arena is chosen from the device clock only. Once the weather service is switched on, the game will send our server only your device’s time zone (for example “Europe/Istanbul”), never your location. Like any server, ours may see the request’s IP address in short-lived security logs.

5.4 Features that need a server (off in this version)

Account links (Google, Apple, Microsoft), Cloud Save, leaderboards, friend requests, mail, online tournaments, the festival, notifications and Download My Data only store your choice in this version and send no data.

Before these features are switched on we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent. The plan is:

  • Your player ID, player name, progress and match results are synchronised with our server.
  • If you link a sign-in provider, we receive only the identifier that recognises your account at that provider, plus your email address if the provider shares it. We never see your password.

5.5 Purchases (off in this version)

This version has no real-money purchases; coin and gem prices in the shop are paid from your in-game balance. Once real-money purchases are offered, payment goes through the App Store or Google Play. We never see your card details. To verify a purchase we receive only the transaction ID and receipt from the store.

5.6 Ads and tracking

This version shows no ads. We do not collect advertising IDs (IDFA / AAID) and do not track you across apps. The Personalised Ads switch only stores your choice. If ads are added later, this policy will be updated first; personalised ads will need your consent and will never be shown to children.

6. Purposes and legal bases

Data Purpose Legal basis
Profile, progress, match history and settings on the device Running the game and keeping your progress This data does not leave your device; KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) (performance of a contract)
Usage statistics and error summaries Balancing the game, fixing errors, improving performance Your explicit consent: KVKK Art. 5(1) and GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)
Support and request emails Solving the problem and answering your request KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and (ç), GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)

We make no decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

7. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We share usage statistics (only with your consent) with our processor Unity Technologies and its cloud providers. Unity’s servers are outside Türkiye and the European Union, including in the United States.

These transfers use the safeguards required by KVKK Art. 9 and Chapter V of the GDPR (for example standard contractual clauses). Where such safeguards are not available, the transfer relies on the explicit consent you gave for usage statistics. If you turn consent off, the transfer stops.

We may disclose information to authorities when the law requires it (for example a court order).

8. Retention

  • Data on your device: stays on your device until you use Delete Account or uninstall the game.
  • Usage statistics: kept as long as needed to improve the game and at most for Unity Analytics’ retention period. After Delete Account or a deletion request we ask Unity to delete them.
  • Emails: kept until your request is resolved, then only for the statutory limitation periods.

9. Security

Game data is stored in the app area that the operating system separates from other apps. Statistics are sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is completely secure. If we learn of a data breach we will notify the authority and you as the law requires.

10. Children

Volley Brawl is a sports game designed for a general audience, children included. It has no chat, no photo sharing and no contact with strangers.

  • Usage statistics are off by default and are switched on only with consent.
  • If you are under 13 (or under the higher age your country sets, for example 16 in some EU countries), ask your parent or guardian before you turn on Usage Data or link an account.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and we never show personalised ads to children.
  • The Parental Controls switch stores your choice; the extra safety settings activate with a server connection.
  • If you are a parent or guardian and want your child’s data deleted, write to the email address in section 12.

11. Your rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it is; learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used for that purpose; know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction under KVKK Art. 7; request that corrections and deletions be notified to those third parties; object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

If you are in the EU, the EEA or the United Kingdom, the GDPR also gives you the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

Under the privacy laws of some US states (for example California): we do not sell your personal information and do not share it for targeted advertising.

How to make a request:

  • In the game: Settings → Privacy → Usage Data (withdraw consent), Settings → Account → Delete Account (deletion). Details are in Account and Data Deletion.
  • By email: techcorylus@gmail.com. Include the Player ID shown in Settings → Account. We may ask for more information to verify your identity.

We answer free of charge within 30 days at the latest. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK Kurulu) or, in the EU, to the data protection authority of your country.

12. Contact

For any privacy question: techcorylus@gmail.com. Postal address: Sercan Göger (Corylustech), Turgut Reis Mahallesi, Karaosmanoğlu Caddesi, Esenler / İstanbul, Türkiye.

13. Changes

We update this policy when the game or the law changes. The date of the current version is in the version line at the top of this document. We will tell you in the game about important changes. If a change needs new consent, we will ask for it again.
